Curses! Cancelled Again!
Well, it looks like the weather does not want to cooperate with us, with dark cloudy skies all day with scattered thunderstorms and rain predicted this afternoon!
So unfortunately, we are canceling today's Hang Free (can you cancel a rain-date event?). We won't try and re-schedule again, and hopefully see you all next Memorial Day Monday at Hang Free!
A big thanks to all the DJ's who volunteered their time (D.R.E.O., DJ Ion, Jack Tripper, Accidentally Andrew and Chris Udoh). We'll be in touch with you all for next Memorial Day's lineup...

Well, it looks like the weather does not want to cooperate with us, with showers and rain predicted from 2pm until tomorrow. This happens every couple of years, the last time we cancelled was 2003!
So unfortunately, we are canceling today's Hang Free. Worry not! We've postponed the date until Next Sunday, September 11th from 1-7pm!

On Monday, September 5th - Labor Day, 2011, we'll be having our second Hang Free of the 2011 season. We expect to be up and running by 1pm on Monday, and going until dark (probably around 7pm). Directions to our location in Fairmount Park are at the right.
Hang Free is a free, bi-annual outdoor party that occurs in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia. We provide DJ's spinning music in an outdoor, casual atmosphere, where there is no cost to hang and listen.
This year, we're very happy to have some old friends (and ex-house-mates!) at Hang Free. This labor day our DJ guests include:

Each Hang Free guarantees some sport & fun (such as touch football or frisbee or volleyball) with friends and soon-to-be friends. Over the years, we've become more pet-friendly and child friendly, offering play for all ages and a friendly welcoming crowd. Plus, you get an eclectic soundtrack to picnic your day away with Philadelphia's hippest DJ's and sound makers.
It's hard to say a week away, but hopefully the continuous rain will mean sunny skies on Labor Day. The weather predicted for next Monday predicts 75 degree weather, a chance of rain and a 7:26pm sunset. If it rains on Monday, we will probably cancel Hang Free due to the weather. Please bookmark and check our web site for last-minute updates as Monday approaches, and definitely post our last update at noon on Monday with the weather prediction.

We're gearing up for the next Hang Free, booking DJ's and getting ready for another great day in the Park!
