Ma Bell Trucks were the sign that someone installed a new phone number. Probably without requiring the area code, as you could reliably cover entire regional networks without duplicating numbers with 10 million available numbers (give or take). I long for the days when the first two numbers of your phone number would be stated as the letters instead. My own childhood number led with a VE6!
