Taken with my trusty iPhone, these pictures document the first arrival of Diner En Blanc, a historied dinner with friends that started in Paris 25 years ago. It's now turned into an international event, with recent appearances in New York and Vancouver. I was one of the lucky 1300 who were quick enough to get on the guest list for Philadelphia's inaugural event, which went swimmingly at the Swann Memorial Fountain at Logan's Circle!
The guests looked fantastic all in white, and smiles were on everyone's faces as they surveyed this delightfully unique event!
Arrival - a frenzied whoosh of white diners!

All in all, I had a great time, everyone whom I spoke to had a blast as well, I look forward to next years event, as I'm already on the list! Thanks to our Table Leader Donna Vielehr for doing a great job of keeping our group on time and well informed!
